NEW OBEDIENCE CLASSES   

ADVANCED BASIC OBEDIENCE   New session begins 5/18 Tuesdays  6:30 PM

6 WEEKS  95.00

 LATE REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED                   

BASIC+ - Foundation skills such as SIT, DOWN, COME, STAND, STAY. Walking on a leash and social skills are taught. For dogs 7 months & older. Health, grooming and household living are discussed.  7:00 PM

ADVANCED BASIC+ -Distractions are added to the fundamental skills acquired in Basic. ATTENTION and HEEL WORK are addressed. CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGC) exercises are introduced. For dogs 7 months & older. TBA

PRE-NOVICE/NOVICE/INTRO TO OPEN – For those interested in Obedience Competition. Open and Utility skills are introduced. This session includes a monthly obedience Run-Thru.

SUPER PUPPY – For puppies of 10 weeks – 18 months. Exercises for exposure to the world, socialization, learning new skills.  

Super Puppy is an ongoing year round class. Puppies accepted at any time during the session. Candidates for this class has limited experience & no negative behavior issues

FEES: $95.00 non-members and $75.00 for members. $10.00 off for Juniors – 18 and under or 4-H members, and Seniors – 60 years and over. $15.00 off for second dog. $5.00 off for repeat session. One discount per handler per class session. All sessions run with 6 weeks of instruction.

OBEDIENCE RUN-THRUS– PRE-NOVICE, NOVICE & OPEN levels only at this time. 2^nd Wednesday of each month: January – November. Run-thrus will be held inside on matted floors.

WEATHER CANCELLATION: Please listen to your local radio or TV. IF WASHINGTON COUNTY OF MD SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED, CLASSES WILL NOT BE HELD THAT DAY. WEATHER RELATED MAKE-UPS ADDED TO END OF SESSION AS NEEDED.

DIRECTIONS: Mason & Dixon Kennel Club is located at the Washington County Agricultural Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike. Take Exit 29 off  I-70 onto Rt65 South, go 6 miles and turn left into complex and continue around long driveway pass the main building, 1^st building on the left.

I wish to enroll my dog in the Obedience class to be conducted by the Mason & Dixon Kennel Club, Inc. I hereby agree that I will not hold the Mason & Dixon Kennel Club, nor any said club officers, members, instructors, nor the owners of any property on which said classes may be held, responsible for any loss or injury that may occur to my dog or to me, during my presence at these classes. The owner is responsible for keeping their dog(s) away from other dog(s) and people while on the training grounds. Dog(s) must be kept on lead at all times unless in the ring or otherwise directed by the class instructor. My dog is up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. NO REFUND ON CLASSES!
